A company which provides its customers with transport and handling services (but who does not own or charter the ship/aircraft moving the cargo) is covered for their liability for;
- Physical loss of or damage to cargo in their care, custody and control.
- Physical loss or damage to a vessel or equipment owned or operated by a subcontractor or customer.
- Consequential loss.
- Incorrect or wrongful delivery of cargo or delay in the handling of customer’s cargo.
- Unrecoverable cargo’s contribution to general average.
- An unintentional breach of regulation or statutory provision.
- Incidents which may expose themselves to a claim from someone with whom they have no contractual relationship.
